Two Arrested for DUI During Sobriety Checkpoint

WINCHESTER, VA- The Winchester Police Department arrested two people during a sobriety check point on Saturday.

Police say 44-year-old Rajnish Sharma was arrested for driving under the influence and 56-year-old Gary Lee Jenkins Sr. was arrested for felony driving under the influence.

Police say the check point was held during the night time hours. Police stopped 190 vehicles and issued 20 citations during the duration of the checkpoint.

Police say four people were charged with revoked or suspended driver's licenses, five people didn't have a license, two people were charged with possession of marijuana, and two minors were charged with possession of alcohol.
