HAGERSTOWN, MD - Nearly 100 students will be walking into new classrooms at the University System of Maryland in Hagerstown (USMH).

The new location is on the other side of University Plaza, giving it more of a campus feel.

The City of Hagerstown renovated the building's space to create three faculty offices and three classrooms.

Students were also excited about the new technology inside the building.

"It's nice because students can touch it, and they can move it, and it's very vital, hand-to-touch coordination that you don't get on a regular computer screen, you don't really get that on pen and paper," says Ashley Bockstanz about the new Promethean Board, Frostburg State University Junior and Teacher Candidate.

$1 million was invested into this project. The money came from a combination of federal, state and local funds.
