HAGERSTOWN, MD - It's hard to believe that just a few days ago we were talking about school delays and closings with accumulating snow and ice, but now we turn our attention to the potential of severe weather on Wednesday Afternoon and Evening.

The National Weather Service has issued the following products for the Four State Region:

Flood Watch:
Adams, Franklin and Fulton Counties in Pennsylvania from 1:00 PM Wednesday to 7:00 PM Thursday.

Flood Watch: Hampshire County, WV for the South Branch Potomac River from 7:00 AM Thursday through 4:00 AM Friday.

Wind Advisory: Western Allegany County, Maryland, Grant, Mineral, Hampshire and Hardy Counties, WV, and Page & Shenandoah Counties, VA from 12:00 PM Wednesday through 6:00 AM Thursday.

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma has placed the entire area under a slight risk for severe weather Wednesday Afternoon and Evening.

The primary threat will be damaging wind gusts along a squall line of thunderstorms that is forecast to move through on Wednesday Afternoon and Evening.  The best timing for these storms will be 6:00 - 10:00 PM along and west of the Blue Ridge, and 10:00 PM - 1:00 AM East of the Blue Ridge.

Stay with the WHAG Weather team with winter and severe weather hits the area, we'll keep you informed as these events roll though on their social media platforms as well as Your4State.com.
