Oakland Man Facing Homicide Charges In Fatal Crash

GARRETT COUNTY, MD - A driver in a crash that killed a woman in Garrett County is facing new charges.
Officials with the Garrett County Sheriff's Office say Bryson Dixon, of Oakland, has been charged with homicide by motor vehicle following the crash back in December.
Dixon had already been charged with driving while intoxicated after he lost control on George Washington Highway and collided with an embankment which caused his car to overturn.
His passenger, Samantha Gibson of Swanton, was ejected from the car.
She later died at a nearby hospital.
