Police Investigate Robbery at Frederick Store

FREDERICK, MD - Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the Wild Bird Gardens store Monday evening.

A salesperson told police that a white male, approximately 6'2" to 6'3" tall and about 150-160 pounds wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, a black baseball cap and black and white shoes had been shopping in the store. He brought several items to the cash register and then went around the counter and ordered the cashier to open the register.

Officials say the suspect did not have a weapon on him, but he did get away with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect was last seen on Buckeystown Pike.

Troopers searched the area with a K-9, but were unable to track the suspect.
