In spite of cold temperatures and some snow, the 152nd class of the West Virginia Police Academy graduated last Friday.
After four months of intensive training, the 25 graduates received their diplomas. The cadets came from a variety of backgrounds and from all corners of West Virgina.
Although they graduated in time to be "Home for Christmas" most found they were on the job for the holiday.
Among the graduates was Berkeley County's newest Deputy H.C. Lu.
"I'm definitely excited to go home and serve my community, help the people that live around in the neighborhoods and clean it up and everything safe for everybody that lives in our town," says Deputy H.C. Lu.
The cadets are now serving both municipal and county law enforcement departments.
