SUV Crashes into Family Dentistry Center

FREDERICK, MD - The Frederick Police Department is investigating after an SUV crashed
into the front office of a family dentistry center Monday morning.
Police say it happened around 11:30 a.m. at 4 South McCain Drive.
Police say a small 2007 Kia SUV crashed through the front office, belonging to Dr. Valerie Kee. They say the SUV was deep into the office, which was fortunately closed for the day.
They say there was substantial damage to the business, but no one was injured.
Police say the driver of the SUV had stepped on the gas believing the vehicle was in reverse. The driver accidentally had the vehicle in drive instead of reverse and was propelled into the business.
The City Building Inspector determined there was no structural damage, and plans were made to have the business boarded up and secured.
