Attempted Burglary Scares Homeowners

MERCERSBURG, PA - The Mercersburg Police Department are investigating after intruders ransacked a home last Thursday.
Police say it happened on 140 Linden Avenue around 11 p.m.
They say the victim, Ray Larson, reported he discovered intruders had entered his house as he was arriving home.
Police say the intruders ransacked the second floor and collected various items. They say the suspects fled the scene upon the arrival of the homeowner.
Nothing was reported taken.
