Deputies Bust Two People for Suspected Marijuana Growing Operation

ALLEGANY COUNTY, MD - Troopers in Allegany County went into a home for reports of an armed break in and entering in progress, but they allegedly found a lot more than that.
The Allegany County Sheriff's Office responded a home along Yuma Street in Bowling Green around 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies searched inside and didn't find any suspects, but they do say they found a suspected marijuana growing operation. The sheriff's office says they found the suspected marijuana plants, paraphernalia, growing materials, and weapons.
They arrested Charles David Grimm Jr., 44, and Sheri Ann Grimm, 47. The two face numerous charges, including manufacturing CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession of a firearm while drug trafficking, possession of syringes, possessing of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.
The two were taken before a District Court Commissioner. Sheri was held on $35,000, and Charles was held on $55,000.
