The Maryland Food Bank delivered over 3,000 pounds of non-perishable along with fruits and vegetables.
Each resident would sign in and get a pre-determined amount. For some residents, this delivery stops them from having to choose from food and medicine.
"We have a sponsor in Washington County that is purchasing this for our seniors, low income seniors that live here," says Pam Schnebly.
There are 120 apartments with 126 residents.
