A Mix of Rain and Snow Ends By Midday Tuesday

HAGERSTOWN, MD -  A mix of rain and snow will fall this morning with a light accumulation of snow from a slushy coating to as much as 2" in the highest elevations at or above 2,000 feet. The snow will mainly accumulate on grassy surfaces.

Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for the following areas:



Garrett County, Maryland through 1pm Tuesday.
Franklin, Fulton & Adams, Pennsylvania through pm Tuesday.



A slushy coating to an inch of snow is possible in most areas north and west of a line from Frederick, MD and Martinsburg, WV. In Franklin, Fulton, and Adams Counties, some spots may pick up 2" at the highest elevations around 2,000 feet.

Light snow will end Western Maryland by late morning with a total 2" to 4" inches at the highest elevations.
