Officers Taser Gunman at 167th Airlift

MARTINSBURG, WV - West Virginia State police are investigating after a security scare Monday at the 167th Airlift Wing in Martinsburg.
It happened around 12 p.m.
Security officers say a man attempted to enter the installation on foot at the West Gate. When asked to cooperate, officers say the man became combative and aggressive, so they used a taser to stop him.
Officers say the man was searched and found armed.
Paramedics took the man to the hospital for observation.
