WILLIAMSPORT, MD - Third grade students from Hickory Elementary School paid tribute to our veterans and those currently serving with a special musical concert Wednesday night.

They sang patriotic tunes and military theme songs.  The Hagerstown civil air patrol was there to present the colors.

A special moment during the show was when veterans in the audience were recognized.

"We just began to add more patriotic songs and teach the children about how to show pride in your country and patriotism," says Christa Stout, Music Teacher at Hickory Elementary School.

This is the fifth year Hickory Elementary School has put on a concert for veterans and those serving in the armed forces.
