BLUEMONT, VA - If you have leftover pumpkins you do not want anymore, there is now a new home for them.

It was Pumpkin Chunkin' Weekend at the Great Country Farms, and people of all ages were ready for the smashing session.

The Wall of Death, The Zip Wire Sploosh, and The Pumpkin Drop Zone are a few of the ways locals were able to see their carved pumpkins explode.

"he 40-foot drop zone is the most fun. It's when we have about 25 pumpkins that he launches off and it sounds literally like fireworks that come exploding down and smashes on the ground," says Jaclyn Jenkins, the hen house manager.

Kids had close encounters with the farm animals and the farm wanted to give visitors a taste of the farm life and so they did.
