Several Patrons Injured After Vehicle Crashes into Restaurant

FREDERICK, MD - Several patrons are injured after a vehicle was driven into a restaurant.

It happened at Sardi's Chicken on 50 North McCain Drive around 12:29 this afternoon.

According to Frederick Police Maria Flores-Garcia had driven a large SUV into the restaurant where several patrons inside were injured.

Officials say Flores-Garcia was arrested for driving without a license and negligent driving.

The two patrons injured suffered non-life threatening injuries.

One of the patrons was taken to the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown.

Police are still investigating.
