One Flown to Nearby Hospital After 1-81 Accident

INWOOD, WV - Police responded to a single vehicle accident on Interstate 81 Thursday night.

One patient was flown to a nearby hospital, their condition is unknown at this time.

Police say the accident happened on exit five, near Gerrardstown Road. Gerrardstown Road was shut down for some time, but it is back open and running smoothly.

Police are still investigating the cause of this accident.
