Maryland's Caleb Rowe out for season; 4th QB out this year

University of Maryland head football coach Randy Edsall on Sunday announced that starting quarterback Caleb Rowe has suffered a torn ACL and will be out for the season.
University of Maryland head football coach Randy Edsall on Sunday announced that starting quarterback Caleb Rowe has suffered a torn ACL and will be out for the season.
Rowe, a freshman who started his first game of season, suffered the injury during Saturday's game
against Boston College.
"I
feel awful for Caleb. I know how excited he was to get his opportunity
to be the quarterback
of this team," Edsall said. "Caleb has a bright future ahead of him and
we will do everything we can to support him through the rehab process."
