CHAMBERSBURG - A Pennsylvania man accused of murdering his mother has been found competent to stand trial even though he refuses to work with his defense attorney.
A judge ruled that Marcus Wallace is aware of the charges against him.
He is accused of beating his mother, Consuella Wallace, three years ago while she slept in her home in Chambersburg.
She went into a coma and later died.
Prosecutors are planning to ask for the death penalty.
The trial date has not been set.
