Hagerstown Police Searching For Suspect In Attempted Armed Robbery

HAGERSTOWN, MD - Police are looking for a man who attempted to rob another person at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

It happened in the first block of West Baltimore Street just before 3:00 a.m.

Police say the suspect got out of a dark colored Saturn SUV, pointed a gun at the man and demanded all of his property.

The man was able to get away without giving the suspect anything.

The suspect is described as a black male who was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call police at (301) 790-3700.
