FREDERICK COUNTY, VA - The Fire Marshal's Office is investigating an arson involving a historic home originally built in 1810.

The blaze broke out Sunday evening in the 1200-block of Back Mountain Road in Winchester.

It took fire crews over an hour to put out the flames.

No one was injured.

The building was unoccupied, but is considered a total loss.

Officials say arson charges are pending against five juveniles.

Anyone who may have seen the fire or suspicious activity in the area is asked to call the Fire Marshal's Office at 540-665-6350.
