CHAMBERSBURG, PA - A Holocaust survivor shared his testimony of living during the Nazi occupation at Wilson College.

Charles Middleberg says he and his family lived in Paris when the Germans invaded during World War II.

They were forced to hide in a ceiling storage room in order to survive.  He and his brother were later sent to the country where they survived the Holocaust.

As for his mother and father, they were sent to a concentration camp.  Unfortunately his mother never made it out, but his father also managed to survive.

His granddaughter, Jessica Middleberg, attends Wilson College and says, "My grandfather is definitely a hero to me and he's also a huge role model. Being someone who can be so peachy about everything and no matter how he feels about somebody he will always be respectful to them."
