HAGERSTOWN, MD - Quinn Alec Hoover, a local teen who died in a car accident in March, saved the lives of three people in his death.  Now he'll represent Maryland in front of millions at the Rose Bowl Parade.

"Our son Quinn Alec Hoover will be participating as a floragraph in the Rose Bowl Parade in the Donate Life Float," says his mother Sonja Hoover.

Quinn's face will be one of 72 organ donor's transformed into floragraphs with grains, flowers and other organic materials.

"You can donate roses just to the general float," says Quinn's dad, Tom Hoover. "I think just having him on there representing the state of Maryland, that's as much as I can hope for."

The Hoovers are still recovering from the painful loss of their son but they say Quinn made a difference with his passing.

"The numbers in Washington County for organ donation have gone up since Quinn has died and a lot of them are young people," says Sonja. "They're getting their driver's license and getting their heart put on."

"The attention he's getting and the attention his legacy is getting towards organ donation and saving a life with your own, it's incredible," says Tom.

You can also leave your mark on Quinn's floragraph by helping his family decorate it in December.  Or you can donate roses to the Donate Life float by clicking here.
