FREDERICK COUNTY, VA - Two people have died in a fiery accident on Interstate 81 between Winchester and Stephens City. Heather Lee Santor and Acoye Breckenridge of Staunton died at the scene of the crash, officials say.

Lance Anderson of Hudson, South Dakota was the driver of the tractor-trailor causing the fatal crash, officials say.

It happened around eight o'clock near mile marker 309 in the southbound lanes.  Traffic was still backed up several miles.

Trooper B.G. Davis has issued a summons for wreckless driving to Anderson.

Virginia State Police are still investigating.

JoyLee, unfortunately they do not proofread. There are countless spelling and grammar mistakes on this site. It's sad that the local news station has such poorly written articles. It seems they have a bunch of elementary school children writing and proofreading for them.

just a minor gripe, but does no one proof read anymore? "Davis has issued a summons for wreckless driving".. very unfortunate spelling.
