HAGERSTOWN, MD - A candidate running for US Senate in Maryland came to our area to spread his message.

On Wednesday, Independent Candidate Rob Sobhani came to Hagerstown as part of a 7-stop campaign tour in Western Maryland.  He spoke to residents and businesses about his platform, including to improve the state's infrastructure, creating more jobs, and giving a financial break to families with children in college.  If elected he's hoping to bring $5.5 billion in economic growth to Maryland.

"I don't see enough economic opportunities, that why I'm here today. I want to make sure Western Maryland benefits from the economic boom that I hope to bring to this state which is 5.5 billion dollars," says Rob Sobhani, Running for U.S. Senate in Maryland.

He's running against the incumbent Ben Cardin and Republican Candidate Daniel Bongino.
