FREDERICK, MD-From banks to publication companies,  local businesses gathered in Frederick County.

They participated in the 17th Annual Business Expo in Frederick.  Restaurants, schools and fitness clubs were all on one floor showing off their organizations and services.  Officials say this is a great way for local business owners to interact with the community and establish connections.

"It gives them an opportunity, to show the business community, what they offer.  They can network, sell, and make interactions with other businesses right here in the county.  It gives them a grand opportunity to show off what it is they do," says Ric Adams, President of Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.

More than 140 organizations held exhibits at the expo.  It was hosted by the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce.
