HAGERSTOWN, MD - Washington County is gearing up to hold its very own "Dancing With the Stars" event for charity.

It's a fundraiser for the Arc of Washington County; all of the proceeds will be donated to needy children in across Washington County.

The stars will be Washington County Public Schools' Superintendent, Dr. Clayton Wilcox; Joe Ross of Meritus Hospital; and Heather Guessford of Kaplan University. Each of them are practicing hard to make it a success.

"It's for a great cause. We're excited about helping out. It's just a great way to reach out to the community and say thank you in some ways and have some fun," says Dr. Wilcox.

The event will be held at 6pm on October 6th at Hager Hall.
