HAGERSTOWN, MD - A Clear Spring boy who died from a car accident in March is being honored at this year's Legacy of Life's Fun Run.

His parents, Tom and Sonja Hoover, will be there to remember their late son, Quinn.

"We were in the darkest spot in our lives after his accident and didn't really know what we were going to do," says Tom. "We couldn't allow a very, very healthy 17-year-old body go to waste."

Quinn Hoover donated his organs and saved the lives of three women.

Sonja says, "He donated his organs, and he is still living by being in somebody else's body and making them better."

Six months have gone by since the Quinn's organs were donated.  His parents learned from friends and teachers, it's what he wanted.

"Whatever he was interested in," says Tom, "whatever his spirit brought into the world, we're going to try to continue on."

The 17-year-old was also a soccer player and passionate about healthy living.

"It'll be on my mind," says Sonja, "that the recipients are doing well. and we pray for those recipients that they continue to get stronger."

Together, the Hoovers say they'll continue sharing Quinn's tale of giving starting Saturday's walk in Baltimore.
