This week's Hometown Hero is Sgt. Matthew Sweigert of Williamsport.
Matt has been a member of the United States Marines since graduating from Williamsport High in 2007.
He has been away from his family for three years serving in Frankfurt, Germany. He has also been part of a special operators group where he was a "silent warrior."
His family is extremely proud of him and can't wait until he comes home again.
