FRANKLIN COUNTY, PA - A "high wind incident" knocked over trees, ripped siding off homes and even moved one person's boat after a fast-moving storm moved through the Greencastle area Sunday afternoon.

Eyewitnesses say they saw what appeared to be a tornado touch down on the south side of Greencastle.

Greencastle Damage

"There is damage noted to the roofs of three structures, tree and utility damage, and some damage to farm equipment," Franklin County Emergency Services Director Dave Donohue said. "The fields in the area had recently been harvested, so there is minimal crop damage."

About 100 homes in Franklin County were without power, Donohue said.
