The goal of World Oceans Day, which is Friday, is to raise awareness about the role oceans play in our lives and the important ways people can help protect it.
Some of the critters that made a splash in the studio included a horseshoe crab, whelk and sea urchin.
On June 9th & 10th the National Aquarium will be hosting a family-friendly weekend filled with scavenger hunts for prizes, animal encounters, book readings with the author of the Mermaid Tales, Debbie Dadey, and other interactive opportunities.
