Cumberland Police:
December 25, 2011
On December 25, 2011 the Cumberland Police Department responded to the Bellevue Street area for a reported Breaking & Entering.  The victims stated they were away from their home for a period of time, when they returned home they observed their residence had been forcibly entered and several items had been stolen.
The matter remains under investigation by the Cumberland Police Department, and the department is seeking any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspects.

Frederick Police:

INCIDENT/ INFORMATION:  On 12-25-11 at approximately 2147 hrs. Officers responded to the 1200 blk. of Stillmeadow Pl. for a reported stabbing.  The victim had approached the suspect while the suspect was attempting to damage a relative's vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex.  A physical altercation ensued during which the suspect cut the victim's forearm with a knife.  When Off. Michelle Clark arrived on the scene she was directed to a suspect that was walking on Hill St. away from the scene.  A foot pursuit began as other units responded to the area to assist.  The suspect was apprehended in the area of Ardmore and Aynsley Courts.  Evidence was collected from the scene and the suspect was positively identified by the victim during a show up immediately after the apprehension.  The victim was transported to FMH for a laceration to his forearm.  He was treated and released.  The suspect was taken to Central Booking for charges and an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
