MARYLAND - Voters may get a chance to repeal the Maryland Dream Act.

The law allows some students to get in-state-tuition, even if they are illegal aliens.

Over 130,000 people signed an online petition at MDPetitions.com.

Officials who support a referendum on the Dream Act, say 55, 736 signatures were necessary.

The Maryland General Assembly approved the bill in May, 2011; Governor Martin O'Malley then signed the bill into law.

Casa-de-Maryland is an organization that supports immigrant groups. The organization initially challenged the validity of the signatures collected on the  MDPetitions.com site; however, according to Judicial Watch, Casa de Maryland dropped the challenge that questioned the validity of the signatures.

The latest move means voters may have the chance to support or reject the law on the ballot in November 2012.
