Vandalism
On November 26, 2011 the Cumberland City Police Department responded to an alley which runs between the 700 block of Maryland Avenue and the 700 block of Elm Street in reference to several residences being spray painted. Nine separate locations were spray painted and the estimated amount of total damages is valued over one thousand dollars. While the officers were investigating they were approached by two witnesses who told the officers that they knew who caused the damage because they saw them do it. As a result of the investigation and witness statements three juveniles were arrested and charged with destruction of property.

Destruction of property / disorderly conduct
On November 30, 2011 at approximately 6:00 p.m., the Cumberland City Police Department responded to the 300 block of Decatur Street in reference to a destruction of property. Upon the officers arrival they contacted the victim who stated that Roger Lynn Davis destroyed the door to his apartment. Officers observed the door to have several holes caused by Davis. A witness was also contacted at the scene and confirmed that Davis did cause the damage to the door. Davis was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing. Davis was then taken to District Court for his initial appearance at which time he was held on $3,000.00 at the Allegany County Detention Center.

Destruction of property and disorderly conduct.

Theft
On November 25, 2011 the Cumberland City Police Department responded to a business on Paca Street in reference to a theft complaint. Upon the officers arrival contact was made with an employee of the business who advised the officer that her wallet was stolen from her purse. The purse was in the employee's office at the time of the theft. The victim explained that a customer came to the business to apply for a loan and as the employee left the office the suspect, Michael Paul Schell stole her wallet from her purse. The theft was caught on the business' security camera system. Schell was contacted at which time he confessed to stealing the wallet. An arrest warrant was obtained and served on Schell on December 1, 2011. Schell was taken to District Court for his initial appearance at which time he was held in the Allegany County Detention Center on $3,000.00.

On November 30, 2011 at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Cumberland City Police Department responded to a loud noise disturbance coming from a residence in the 300 block of Columbia Street. Once on the scene the officer knocked on the door of the residence at which time the door was opened and in plain view the officer observed a subject holding a glass smoking device which is commonly used to smoke marijuana. The officer then contacted the subject and asked him if he had any marijuana on him at which time the subject retrieved a small baggie of marijuana and handed it to the officer. As a result Daniel Alvin Hill was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters. Hill was then taken to District Court for his initial appearance at which time he was released on his personal recognizance.

Motor Vehicle Accident
Belair
On 11/30/2011 at approximately 10:00 pm the Maryland State Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on MD. 220 at Barton Blvd. in the Belair area of Allegany County. Investigation into the two vehicle accident revealed that a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville operated by 46 year old Sharon George of Cumberland was traveling north on MD 220. George's vehicle veered into the south bound lane of MD 220 striking a 1994 Ford F-150 pick-up truck operated by 21 year old Julie Bishoff of Keyser, WV. head on. George who was transported to the Western Maryland Health System by Cresaptown EMS advised the trooper that she fell asleep and lost control of her vehicle. She was treated for minor injuries and released. Bishoff and her infant passenger were attended to at the scene by EMS however neither required transport to the hospital. George was charged in the accident.
Frederick Police Department:INCIDENT/ INFORMATION on the above date and time officers of the Frederick Police Departments Patrol Division responded to 1388 David Lane for a reported burglary call. Upon arrival the officers contacted the homeowners that advised a B/F had entered their residence and they did not know who she was. The suspect was standing in the living room of the home when the officers entered. Upon contact with the suspect she identified herself as the arrestee but refused to give further information. Bryan, when asked where she lived, stated she lived at 1388 David Lane. Bryan refused to divulge any further information about herself; she displayed behavior that was indicative of being under the influence of a controlled substance. Bryan was ultimately transported to FMH for a medical assessment to determine what might be causing her behavior. Once she was medically cleared she was transported to Central Booking for processing and charges. She is currently awaiting an initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
Frederick Police Department:
INCIDENT/ INFORMATION On the above date and time OFC. Keesecker of the FPD Patrol Division responded to a theft complaint at the Weis Festival Market at 488 Prospect Blvd. The suspect, Elbasha, was being detained by store security for shoplifting. While searching the suspect incident to arrest the stolen items from the store were recovered and additional items were found in Elbasha's purse. Numerous prescription pills of various types were found in her possession that were not prescribed to her. These controlled substances were seized prior to the suspect being transported to Central Booking for processing.
