Theft
On November 21, 2011 the Cumberland City Police Department responded to a business located on Queen City Drive in reference to a shoplifting complaint.  Upon the officers arrival contact was made with an employee of the business who advised that a customer was observed stealing items by placing them in her purse.  Contact was made with the suspect, Eileen Marie Seifert at which time Seifert admitted to taking the items.  Seifert was then issued a criminal citation for theft and was released from the scene.

CDS Paraphernalia
On 11/21/2011 at approximately 11:00 p.m., a patrol officer with the Cumberland City Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in reference to the vehicle failing to stop for a flashing red traffic signal.  While the officer was talking to the operator and the passengers of the vehicle a glass smoking device was observed inside the vehicle by the officer.  The smoking device contained residue suspected to be marijuana.  This type of smoking device is commonly used to smoke marijuana.  The front seat passenger identified as, Andrew Blake McDonald advised the officer that the pipe was his.  McDonald was then issued a criminal citation for possession of drug paraphernalia and was released.

Charges:
Possession of drug paraphernalia.
