Frederick Police Department:
On 10/7/2011 at approximately 2358 hours, officer from the Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division responded to the 200 block of Amber Dr. for a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim had been robbed of his cash and other belongings after being threatened with a gun by the suspect. The victim provided a detailed description of the suspect.
The case was assigned to Det. Marker from the Frederick Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division. With the help of patrol officers and other witnesses, within a week and a half of the initial report, Det. Marker was able to positively identify the suspect as:
Dandre Gibson
B/M, 4-16-1981
No fixed address
Frederick, MD 21701
Gibson was subsequently charged on a warrant with :
1. Armed Robbery
2. Robbery
3. Theft
On 11/11/11, patrol officers received a tip that Gibson was seen in the 1300 block of W. 7th St. Patrol officers apprehended Gibson without incident, and he was transported to FCADC. Gibson's bond was set by the District Court Commissioner's Office at $35,000, and this amount remained after a bond review on 11-14-11.
