Tomblin has been filling the role of governor since Joe Manchin left office to represent the state as a U.S. senator.
Tomblin won the election on October 4th, after a tough contest against Bill Maloney.
Tomblin will formally be sworn into office Sunday afternoon at the state capitol.
Tomblin has been in politics since the early 1970s when he was first elected to the state house.
