Disorderly
On October 26, 2011, at 8:11 P.M., officers were working foot patrols on Virginia Ave. during the Annual Halloween Parade. During the parade officers were contacted by a citizen complaining that an individual was pouring liquids from a second floor apartment onto parade spectators. Officers located the a male subject identified as Gary Claus in the 300 block of Virginia Ave. pouring an unknown liquid out of a second floor window onto the sidewalk. Officers ordered Claus to stop pouring the liquid and to come to the door but he refused to comply. Due to the odor of the liquid officers believed it to be a chemical cleaner and a safety concern. After several attempts officers were able to gain entry into Claus's residence and place him under arrest without incident. Claus was transported to the Cumberland Police Department and charged with Disorderly Conduct. Claus was later released pending trial. There were no injuries reported during the incident.

INCIDENT/ INFORMATION: On today's date, 10-28-11, at approximately 1122 hours, officers from the Frederick Police Department's Patrol Division responded to the 600 Hunt Over Lane for a burglary complaint. The residents of a home in that block reported that a female had broken into their home while they were there. The residents reported having the female locked in the garage and were attempting to hold her their while police responded. Upon arrival, OFC McPeak discovered the female had managed to get away from the residents and was seen running down the street. He was able to locate a home the suspect, Tiaray Conyett Summers, had run based on information from other neighbors. These neighbors advised she was discarding her clothing as she ran. She was located taken into custody without incident. Officers were unable to discern the reason she had entered the residence.
