MARTINSBURG, WV - For the past 28 years, CCAP'S Loaves & Fishes have been helping the hungry in Berkeley County and now they need your help to keep that service going.

This Thursday, 26 restaurants throughout Berkeley County are coming together to help feed the hungry by donating at least 10% of your bill to CCAP's Loaves & Fishes in Martinsburg.

"The money that you will donate to us will be for clothing, work clothing, shoes, food to restock our shelves here, baby formula for babies, and pampers and things like that," explains Nathan Postell, Director of CCAP's Loaves & Fishes.

CCAP's Loaves & Fishes has helped more than 1,000 families just this year alone, making it an important program for many in the community.

"In one day I had two people with tears coming down their eyes because they were so thankful to get the food that we hand out here to them," says Vickie McFarland, volunteer at CCAP's Loaves & Fishes.

The restaurants will offer donations from breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

"It's a great program, we're all about helping and giving back to the community," says Troy Horner, District Manager for Hoss's Steak and Sea House, "This location here, Hoss's in Martinsburg, has actually given $50,000 back to the community in just a little over two years."

"We wanted to give back to the community, we felt it was very important to help the customers that help us stay in business by giving back to those and especially with the economy the way it's been we need to help even more," says Susan Erwin, Owner of Martinsburg McDonald's Restaurant.
