David Kurz - Smithsburg High School

Our male Student Athlete of the Month is David Kurz.
David is a senior at Smithsburg High School and a 4-year starting mid-fielder for the Leopards soccer team. So far this season, he has racked-up 5 goals and 6 assists. He also plays Varsity Tennis for Smithsburg in the Spring.
In the classroom, David is ranked first in his class of about 200 people with a G.P.A of 4.28. He is a member of the National Honor Society and Academic Team while also serving as president of the Environmental Club and playing in the Jazz Band.
David hopes to attend Yale University next year.
