Kate Zimmer - North Hagerstown High School

Our Female Student Athlete of the Month is Kate Zimmer. Kate is a senior at North Hagerstown High School and is a 4-year starter for the Hubs volleyball team. The 6-foot-3-inch middle hitter has 910 career kills for North.
In the classroom, Kate maintains a 4.35 G.P.A. in North's International Baccalaureate program, a step above the A.P. level. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Vice President of the Maryland State Student Government Association.
Kate will attend the University of Maryland on a full scholarship to play volleyball for the Terps. Congratulations, Kate, on a job well done, and best of luck in the future from all of us at NBC25.
