Hagerstown "Taste of the Arts" Will Feature Various Cuisines

HAGERSTOWN, MD - Restaurants in downtown Hagerstown want you to taste some of its best dishes, without taking too much out of your pocket.

Twelve restaurants are participating in the  "Taste of The Arts" event Thursday night.

People will be able to try culinary treats from a number of places on Washington, Franklin and Potomac streets.

The money raised will go towards the Maryland Theatre and the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts.

Restaurant owners  hope this will attract more people to the downtown area.  

"We want to make sure people know that we're here that we have a lot of exceptional restaurants, we have a lot of exception businesses that are here and we want to invite people to come in and sample some things on our menu," says Trista Kruse, the general manager for Bulls & Bears.

"Taste of the Arts" will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday.
