Man Charged in Chase That Injured Two Children

Jassen Albert is charged with felony counts of aggravated assault and fleeing or attempting to elude police. He also has several misdemeanors on his rap sheet, including recklessly endangering another person, driving with a suspended license, and exceeding the speed limit.
Albert was pulled over for a routine traffic stop in Adams County on April 2nd.
Police chased him down Route 30 and he crashed near Briar Lane.
The car struck a sign and caught on fire. Troopers had to rescue Albert and two young children from the back seat.
The children's injuries were severe and they had to be airlifted to trauma centers. There's no word on their condition.
