CUMBERLAND, MD- Cumberland Police have released the name of the victim found fatally stabbed inside his home early Tuesday morning.

Police say 30-year-old Chad Dylan Robinette was found dead inside his home at 2:56 a.m. on Davidson Street.

Police say Robinette was found in the front room, just inside the front door with a single puncture wound to the upper chest. They say there was no other obvious signs of trauma to the body.

Evidence Collection Technicians with the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division say a knife with blood on it was recovered at the scene and is believed to be the weapon used.

Other evidence recovered at the scene is being sent to the Maryland State Police Crime Lab. Police say Robinette's body is being sent to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Investigators say four other people were inside the house at the time the body was discovered. All four people have been interviewed, and police say additional witnesses are also being questioned at this time.
