WIND ADVISORY for Garrett County until 1pm this afternoon for gusts up to 45 mph at times.
TODAY: A cold front moves passes through with temperatures in the low 30s to start the day. A light wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will fall before 11am. No accumulation is expected over much of the region A coating to 2" of snow is possible before the rain washes it away this afternoon. Expect a few showers to linger into the afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy, colder and blustery with a west wind at 10-20 mph. Lows in the mid 20s. Garrett, Western Allegany, Grant and Mineral Counties will see some snow with 1-3" into Wednesday.
WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny, windy and colder with highs in the low to 30s. Wind chills will be in the teens and 20s. Mountain snow showers will continue.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny, breezy and chilly with highs in the upper 30s.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a light wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing possible as a warm front approaches. High: 36.
SATURDAY: A low pressure passes by to our south bringing the chance of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. High near 40.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy and warmer with highs in the mid 40s.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny and mild with highs in the upper 40s.
