The Sergeant surprised his family four days early, after a nine-month deployment in Qatar.
"You look beautiful," says Sergeant Enoc Santos, U.S. Army Sergeant First Class, to his wife.
Serving the Army since 1991, this is the longest his family's been apart. Santos says he was as nervous as his wedding day.
"It's one of the hardest things I've had to do. When I go on missions, we are trained for it. This is something that there's no training for," says Sergeant Santos.
The congregation called this service "Superhero Sunday."
"I wanted to be with them already," says Sergeant Santos.
And just when the Sergeant's wife, Victoria, was mid-speech--
"I had no idea whatsoever, none, none at all," says Victoria Santos.
Her family reunited.
"And the reunion is not that bad. The homecoming, that's what, the anticipation for the homecoming, it just keeps you going," adds Victoria.
The Santos family is wrapped in pride.
"Before I was like, 'why isn't my dad here, why doesn't he want to be here?' it was just a child-like mentality; but now it's like I understand it's his job, and it's a great honor to do this," says Abigail Santos, Sergeant Santos' daughter.
And tears of joy welcome their dad, husband and hero home.
