WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Western Allegany County, Grant and Mineral Counties until 6pm for an additional 3-5" of snow.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Garrett County until 7pm for an additional 3-5" of snow.

FLOOD WARNINGS are in effect for Frederick County in Maryland, Loudoun County in Virginia, Morgan and Jefferson Counties in West Virginia through tonight.

Flooding will continue at:

The Monocacy River at Frederick.
Shenandoah River at Millville.
Potomac River at Point of Rocks

TODAY: A very weak clipper will pass through early this morning bringing light snow. A coating to up to an inch is expected. The snow ends by 8am with a mix of clouds and sunshine for the afternoon. It will be windy with gusts up to 40 mph at times. Highs will be in the upper 20s to near 30, but it will feel like the teens.

TONIGHT:  Partly cloudy, cold and blustery with lows in the low to mid teens.

SATURDAY: It's mostly cloudy and cold with a high of 32. Some snow showers are possible in the afternoon as a weak clipper approaches. Light snow will continue overnight.

SUNDAY: Partly sunny with snow showers as a clipper system passes overhead. A light accumulation is possible with a coating to 2". High: 37.

MONDAY: Partly sunny and brisk with a high of 34.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny with some snow showers possible at night. High: 37.

WEDNESDAY: A morning snow shower is possible, but the sun returns for the afternoon. Highs in the upper 30s.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and a bit warmer. High near 40.
