Rally Around The Promise

FREDERICK, MD - Frederick County Public Schools held their "Rally Around a Promise" Thursday night.
Members of the Frederick County community gathered in Tuscarora high-school's auditorium to hear superintendent Terry Alban present her first draft of the budget for Frederick County Public Schools.
There were also musical performances by the students of Frederick County as well as an informal town hall meeting in the cafeteria after the presentation.
"The purpose of this meeting is to continue out conversation about what we want public education to be in Frederick County Public Schools, and how we want to continue to build on the success we have had," says FCPS Superintendent, Terry Alban.
The budget discussed Thursday night is for the 2013-2014 budget year.
