Accused Rapist Behind Bars

FREDERICK, MD - A Maryland man is in jail Tuesday after being accused of a rape this past Friday.
The Frederick County Sheriff's Department says Charles Duffin, 39, is charged with raping a female victim in her late teens.
Police responded to a call around 5:30 Friday evening, sending deputies to the 300 block of Fort Collier.
Authorities believe Duffin and the victim are acquaintances. The victim is now at home with her family and Duffin is being held without bond at the Northwest Virginia Regional Jail.
Duffin is due back in court January 29th at the Frederick General Courts.
