Three Pets Lost in House Fire

GUILFORD TOWNSHIP, PA - Franklin County Fire officials responded to a house fire Friday morning that left two cats and one dog dead.
It happened between 10:30 and 11 a.m. on 191 Highland Road. The owner of the residence says he left to go to a doctors appointment, and about a half hour later received a call his house was on fire. The blaze spread to parts of the garage and breezeway.
The home is a ranch-style with basement. Around 50 firefighters from Fayetteville and neighboring departments responded. Fire officials are still investigating the cause.
