FREDERICK, MD - You can get some unique art for your home and help the less fortunate at the same time.

Bowls donated by Frederick artists are for sale at the Little Pottery Shop along North East Street.

You can use your bowl to go to Souper Sunday on April 7th at Ayse Meze Restaurant.

Local restaurants will supply soup for free and you can vote on the best one. All you have to pay for is $25 for the bowl.

All proceeds help benefit homeless and low-income people at the Frederick Rescue Mission.

"In 2008 when the economy first started to decline, we served about 69,000 meals. Last year, we served over 148,000, so it's more than doubled. We're just thankful that at we're able to meet that need," says Emily Moore, with the Frederick Rescue Mission.

Last year's Souper Sunday raised $7,000 for the Mission. For more information on the event, click here.
